We install packages we fabricate and third-party / ship-in product. For rebrands, we change faces and letters so locations match. Full scope: sign installation and sign service.
Dark cabinets, failed LED modules and power supplies, cracked or faded faces, loose or missing letters, leaning structures, broken retainers and damaged raceways. If the structure is sound, we quote a repair instead of a full replacement.
The City of Tampa requires a permit to erect, alter, relocate or rebuild a sign. Any repair that affects a sign's load-bearing structure needs one too. Simple, non-structural maintenance does not. Illuminated and electronic signs get an electrical inspection after the electrical work is done. A new foundation is inspected after the hole is excavated and the reinforcing steel is in place. If a sign is an imminent threat to people or property, emergency repairs may start first, with the permit pulled the next city working day, limited to returning the sign to its original permitted state.
The city's permit review typically asks for a site plan relative to property lines, building elevations, sign specifications with area calculations, a wind-load report, and electrical details if the sign is lit. Hillsborough County and nearby cities have their own rules. We pull our own permits; approval time depends on the city or county.

Under City of Tampa Code Sec. 27-289.4(b)(2), copy on an electronic message sign may not change more than once in a 15-second period, and the message has to stay static: no flashing, movement, scrolling or changing light intensity. Placement and face size also depend on the street. Other cities and Hillsborough County have their own rules. We check the rules for your address before we quote. See digital signage. Our crews bring their own lift equipment: a 65-foot bucket truck, an Elliott with 75 ft working height, and a 57-foot Skyhook. That covers tall pylons and highway-facing signs, with no added lift cost. Florida electrical specialty contractor, license ES 12000355. We are authorized to work in malls and airports.
